Música: Ian Anderson presenta Jethro Tull The Rock Opera

Ian Anderson, flautista líder de Jethro Tull, se presentará el 2 y 3 de octubre en el Teatro Gran Rivadavia (Av. Rivadavia 8636, Floresta) con los temas más reconocidos de la extensa carrera del grupo. Se especula que este acompañado por el guitarrista Martin Barre, o que se presente en formato trío junto a John O Hara y Duane Perry, en teclados y batería.

Jethro Tull mantiene una densa agenda de presentaciones en todo el mundo. Sus discos más recordados son Aqualung (1971), Thick as a brick (1972), y más adelante en la historia del grupo que ya va por su quinta década, Crest of a knave (1987), que obtuvo un Grammy en 1989, deja ver la influencia del rock más duro, y cierta inspiración en el sonido de bnandas como los Dire Straits, el blues y el folk.
