Driver Injured in Tree Collision

Unterschleissheim.  A serious crash involving a 23 year-old man occurred at 3:30am on Sunday morning in Unterschleissheim.  He was driving in treacherous conditions, reports Merkur Online, and lost control of his vehicle before ramming into a tree at high speed.

The force of the crash was such that the man was thrown through the rear window of his Opel car.  He was found unconscious and taken to hospital with serious head injuries.

The exact nature of the crash is under investigation with no further details being released at this stage.
