Beer More Expensive After Smoking Ban

Munich. After the absolute smoking-ban in Bavaria, private breweries announced that beer and food in festival tents will become more expensive.

On tuesday, the Organisation of Private Breweries in Bavaria refered to the additional effort to abide by the rules of the smoking-ban as a consequence for the price increase. It is not clear yet, how the transformation will take place in festival tents. However "It is for sure, that additional expenses for more security staff in tents will be paid through price increases for beer and food."
